3 Lil Pigs: Home Defense is a tower defense game loosely based on the childhood story, The Three Little Pigs. 3 Lil Pigs: Home Defense features controls that are easy to learn, a voice that interfaces with the user, similar to that found in RTS games, and twenty-three achievements to earn.

The objective of 3 Lil Pigs: Home Defense is to defend your home from the Big Bad Wolf and his minions. To stop the wolves from breaking down your house, you must place defenses. To place turrets in this defense game, click on the type of turret that you wish to buy, then click on open land to build the turret in that location. You may place up to three turrets at once, with each of the pigs building one. If you wish to place a fourth turret, you must wait until one of the pigs has completed their prior task. There are six battles to be completed in this shooting game and your progress is saved at the end of each level, so you can pick up from where you left off if you play again later.

3 Lil Pigs: Home Defense is quite challenging for a shooting game based upon a children's story. The first level may be challenging for the most hardened veterans of tower defense games, especially given the strength of the enemies and relative weakness of your turrets. I will provide some hints to help you beat the first level, but after that, you are on your own.

Firstly, you may be tempted to build a shotgun tower, but it is best to build machine gun towers for starters. Build numerous towers in a row and block exits that your enemies can take. Although each individual tower may do little damage, if you limit the directions that your enemies can travel in you can keep them under fire and wear them down. You cannot completely block the wolves' path to your house, however. Once you have earned enough money from killing enemies, you may want to upgrade your towers. Upgrading towers does not require the pigs to leave their home, so you can upgrade as many towers as you want at the same time provided that you have the funds. Towers cannot fire while upgrading in this defense game, so it is only advisable to upgrade during lulls in the action.
