Bloons Tower Defense 3 Walkthrough

If you've ever played Bloons Tower Defense 2, or any other kind of Bloons Tower Defense game, you'll be at home when playing this. It's simple to get the hang of, especially if you haven't played a tower defense game before, and it's concise. Like previous games, Bloons Tower Defense 3 has been loaded with new features, towers, and maps to play with.

There are now eight maps to choose from instead of the three the previous game offered, and they all increase in difficulty. There are four new towers to choose from, including the Monkey Beacon - a tower that increases the effectiveness of other towers while damaging no bloons on its own; the Pineapple, a trap you can set to explode enemy bloons, the Spike-o-pult, an effective new splash tower, and a top secret tower that can only be unlocked through playing the game.

So, when you start any map, you'll be given a set amount of lives and money. Depending on which map and difficulty you selected, you'll either have plenty of money and a bunch of lives, or conversely barely any money and only a few lives. Depending on how you play, you can dominate the game with only a few lives, but in later maps it's quite difficult, even for veteran players.

Bloons Tower Defense 3 improves upon previous games in the serious quite a bit, and the difficulty really ramps up the gameplay. If you're looking for something to simply waste your time with, Bloons Tower Defense 3 is probably your best choice - you'll strategize, purchase and upgrade new towers in between rounds, and never want to see a balloon again. And a quick tip - make sure to upgrade to Super Monkey Towers towards the end of the game, or else you'll never survive.
