Bug Attack Walkthrough

Don't you just hate ants at a picnic? How about beetles? Flies? Roaches in tanks? It's time to fight back in Bug Attack, a Flash tower defense game. This strategy game features colorful graphics, simple controls, and a variety of towers and weapons to use against the pests.

The objective of Bug Attack is to prevent the waves of bugs from getting to your sugar cubes on each of the twelve levels. If the bugs manage to steal all of your sugar, you will fail the level; defeat all waves of attackers and you will advance to the next. As you progress, you will learn more about the bugs and the towers that you have available in your arsenal. To view this information, open the Bug-pedia. This information is saved along with your progress in this tower defense game.

Instead of being able to freely place towers along the path, tower placement positions are predefined in Bug Attack. The only choices that you have is the type of tower that you wish to place in each location and whether or not to upgrade them. This removes strategic freedom from the game, but it is made up by the inclusion of superweapons. Proper usage of superweapons can turn the tide of a battle in your favor. Superweapons require crushed aphids to charge them, however, so be sure to click on any aphids that randomly appear throughout each level. It is advisable to save enough aphids to fire the magnifying glass at least once against the boss. Use your superweapons as you see fit, but try to rely on your towers to dispatch the majority of your enemies.

Bug Attack may not be the most unique or extraordinary tower defense game on the Web, but it is worth checking out if you are a fan of the genre. Casual gamers may also appreciate Bug Attack due to its simplicity, but its slow pace may be a turnoff to some.
