Flash Element TD Walkthrough

Flash Element TD is about as simple and basic as tower defense games go - it's based directly off the original tower defense games of WC3, and only has a few different options and upgrades to choose from.

But that doesn't mean it's not fun, not at all. With arrow, cannon, and air towers, you'll have to save as many lives as you can through wave after wave of enemies. Some waves may have fast-moving enemies, while others will be air-only (cannon towers won't be able to hit them). In between levels, you'll gain interest based on the amount of gold you have left, and you'll have ample time to prepare for the next wave - click the next wave button when you're ready to go.

There are a few things in particular that stand out about this tower defense game, though. For starters, the enemies are taken directly from WC3 - so this is about the closest thing you'll have to the real thing. Next, due to either a game glitch (or maybe the creator of the game wanted it this way), you can stack towers when placing them. To this, build a tower on a corner, and when you're placing another immediately next to it, make sure the buildings overlap. If done correctly, you'll be able to build twice as many towers as you normally would, and you'll be able to pack a lot more firepower where you normally wouldn't be able to.

While Flash Element TD is only a basic tower defense game, it's nice to see where the genre originally came from. With only a few different towers to choose from, this game is more about strategy than anything else - and it's still a challenge.
